From the first look at your web site, we were pulled toward Arbor House. After staying here two nights, we'll be pulled back again.

The eclectic mix of furniture, the extremely comfy bed, the efficient set up of the entire suite - this is just a part of it.

The charm consists in the warm human touches: the gardens, the food perfectly and personally prepared, the fresh flowers, the cloth napkins, and the night light. (I've never seen a B & B/ hotel that had a night light in the room before. I need a nightlight!) We've enjoyed our stay here greatly. We've felt very nurtured and cared for here, without ever being intruded upon.

Big thanks for all the little touches. The space is wonderfully relaxing -- and watching the sunrise over the ocean, what a perfect way to start the day. You guys really have something special here. The food and treats always gave me something extra to look forward to at the end of the day. I honestly don't see how it could be better.

Thank you for providing such an enchanting retreat. While we enjoyed dining in town and exploring local shops and beaches, by far the most entertaining aspect of our stay has been luxuriating in the garden, feasting on delicious treats and perusing the books in the room. I have only spent a handful of times in other B & B's but to my experience I have never enjoyed so many thoughtful details as on my visit here. Lisa mentioned the daily treats, but so many things made the stay special.

We had a very enjoyable stay. We love the decor, especially the art work. The Asian picture near the bed and the cat picture near the door are wonderful. We made Friends with the two cats with green eyes that greeted us every time we came and left the suite. They are very friendly and cute. We also enjoyed all the tasty treats in the kitchenette. The litchis were amazing! We were looking for them at food markets during our visit to Tokyo, but we couldn't find them. We were amazed to find them on the fruit plate when we opened the fridge!

Day One: We are in love w/ the bed and couch and the thoughtful details we find at every turn. The best thing about Marblehead in February is that you can swing at the beach and don't have to stand in line with a bunch of 11 year olds.

Day Two: My husband has announced his intention to live on blueberry coffee cake. The Peabody museum magazines are a great resource as we plan our visit here. Every night we sleep as if we are at home.

Day three: we find Antique wear!! (Thank you Dave!) - across from the landing. I buy a beautiful locket as a keepsake for our visit.

Day four: as we sadly contemplate the last day of our stay, we console ourselves with thoughts of next year. Why we came - We married Oct 11, 2003 In the weeks before the wedding, we endured the loss of a close relative to cancer and a close friend to an accident. The wedding day was joyful but bittersweet and our thoughts were hardly on our honeymoon. We planned this winter retreat as a second honeymoon. Our experience here exceeded every expectation.
